I'm from Palencia, Spain.

It started with a VHS camera and my friends riding BMX. Filming them hooked me, and I taught myself everything, tinkering with whatever gear I could find.

I quit engineering for this. I trained as a cinematographer at ESCAC, and since then I've worked in fashion, advertising, and fiction. Mostly between Madrid and Barcelona, though I shoot worldwide.

The way a project gets made matters to me as much as the result. Intuition and risk are part of the job.

Soy de Palencia.

Todo empezó con una cámara VHS y mis amigos montando en BMX. Encontré mi pasión en grabar nuestras quedadas, y aprendí solo, cacharreando con todo lo que pillaba.

Dejé la ingeniería para dedicarme a esto. Me formé como director de fotografía en la ESCAC y desde entonces trabajo en moda, publicidad y ficción. Sobre todo entre Madrid y Barcelona, aunque ruedo por todo el mundo.

Para mí, cómo se hace un proyecto importa tanto como el resultado. La intuición y el riesgo forman parte del trabajo.
